Firestone
I am a Singer/Songwriter who grew up in South London mainly listening to Reggae, Lover’s Rock and Soul music. There have been many career changes in my life but my passion for music has always been strong and I never gave up on my dreams of becoming a music artist.
Growing up I was exposed to not just reggae but a wide variety of music such as R&B, Gospel, Jazz, Pop, Classical, the list goes on. When it comes to music I’m not bias I love all types and as an artist I am versatile and would one day love the opportunity to work on different genres of music and not be restricted to writing and performing reggae music alone.
My influences in music are so many each and every singer/musician I have listened to have influenced me in my writing and style, like the water that feeds a plant and helps it to grow. When I write, I write from my heart, when I sing I sing from my soul, my lyrics are real.
As with most writers I would like to think that my lyrics will influence my audience, lift their spirits and give them hope. I feel I am truly blessed to have been given such a talent to write and perform and even more so to be able to share this with the world. I give thanks to the one above.
