Biography

Reggae singer Bunny Melody  was born as Winston Bond. He  was raised in Buff Bay, in the parish of, Portland, Jamaica and started singing in his local choir. In 1968 he emigrated from Jamaica to England. 
On a return to Jamaica in 1994 he formed his Reggae record label and production house WAB Records. He set out to be a good songwriter and producer. In 1998, his team decided it was time that he should put out a record out in his name.  The song was a cover of Ken Boothe’s “Everything I Own.”  After this song received a successful debut the DJ Dave West Reggae Show on London, UK’s Ragga FM Radio, he became instant hit on stage which lead to a successful. Music career He released the album “True to You.”(1998). His cover of Cliff Richard’s song,” Miss You Nights” (2000) in a Reggae style, led to several Television appearances on various channels including; MTV, the Warehouse, Meridian, Carlton, Sky TV His hits include ‘” Everything I own” and “Back Biters” and “Miss You Nights.”
Bunny has performed in major venues around the world and has worked with many Reggae legends including the late Tyrone Taylor, Dennis Brown, Gregory Isaacs, also Delroy Wilson, The Duellers, Winston Reedy, JC Lodge, Lloyd Brown, Dennis Bovell, Carrol Thompson & Trevor Walters. 
He took a couple of years out of the business in 2012 and is back with the album “Let’s Get Serious.” The 16 track album includes new songs as well as some of his remixed hits. The album worked with top engineer Al Chemist and musicians, including, Colin “Steam Fish” Mcneish, Dennis Bovell, Nerious s Joseph Lyndel Lewis, Colin Crook and Donald Deans. He collaborated with DJ Danny English, Sharlene T, DC Ninja and Soldier Queen with backing vocalists Dee, Charlene T, and Michelle Austin.
